User-Provided Nutrition & Fitness Inputs: When using our meal logging and calculators (TDEE, BMR, Calorie Deficit, Water Intake), you may input demographic and physiological metrics such as age, height, weight, activity level, and dietary logs. This data is stored locally on your device and synchronized to your private cloud account solely to compute accurate energy balances and render your progress charts.
B. Photo Food Logging & Camera Access: When using the AI photo meal scanner, meal images you capture are temporarily processed via encrypted transmission by our vision recognition models to identify food items and estimate macronutrient breakdowns. We do not sell or monetize your food photos.
C. Technical & Diagnostic Logs: We collect non-personally identifiable diagnostic metrics (app crashes, device model, operating system version) to improve performance, enhance barcode scanning accuracy, and maintain server reliability.
3. HealthKit & Google Fit Integration
If you choose to synchronize Calorie Counter with Apple Health (HealthKit) or Google Fit/Health Connect, data read from or written to these platforms is strictly governed by Apple and Google's health developer protocols. We never use health data for advertising, marketing, or third-party data broker monetization.
